Dave Ambrose came to Fishers in 2004 as the Pastor of Spiritual Formation, although he now serves as BridgeWay's Executive Pastor of Ministries.
Dave grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, with two brothers and sisters, where his love of God led him to a life in the ministry. He graduated from Cedarville College in 1991, and earned a Master's Degree from Western Seminary.
Dave has been in full-time ministry since 1991, working with Youth For Christ of Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. He was then the Youth Pastor and Church Planting Pastor at Parma Heights Baptist Church in Cleveland, before moving on to Oak Hills Church in Folsom, California as the Student Ministries and Outreach Pastor.
Dave is also a published author, having written Chew On This – Guided Meditations for Students for Zondervan Publishing in 2008.
Dave believes that in order for people to feel connected at church, they need deep relationships with one another. That's why his primary focus at BridgeWay is to insure that people have the opportunities to form those relationships. "We need to do life together," Dave likes to say.
Dave also loves spending time with his wife Melody and two boys Josh and Tyler. One of their favorite things to do is to turn the music up and dance like crazy together in their living room!
