Our Story

Our History Picture - Picture of sign at Grace in...The journey God took Joshua and the people of Israel on is much like our journey here at BridgeWay. Because they trusted God and His promise to "never leave them nor forsake them," they took possession of their Promised Land.

The story of BridgeWay is a story of trust. Craig and Lisa Parker moved to Noblesville, Indiana in 1998 to plant a new church with a new mission: Life-change.

BridgeWay had no people and no place to meet, but God gave us a promise: Trust me! I’ll give you what you need, when you need it.

Time after time, God made good on that promise. First, God brought people to BridgeWay who were committed to the mission of life-change. As the group outgrew the Parker’s family room, God provided a space to meet at Grace Community Church. By the spring of 2000, seventy people stepped out in faith to launch the church.

Partnering with the people of Grace, we trusted God and gave sacrificially. With the funds and a lot of sweat equity, we built out 16,000 square feet of warehouse space as a temporary “launch pad” in Fishers.

On December 3rd, 2000, God brought 183 people to BridgeWay’s first public worship service in our leased space! Our church family has since grown to more than 800 people.

Looking ahead, we have no desire to become the next mega-church in Fishers.  Rather, we are trusting God for mega-impact on our community through partnerships and church planting.  We are also exploring a multi-site strategy as a way to accomplish Jesus’ vision for growth and multiplication of His church.
