In 2005, BridgeWay began partnering with Pastor Rolando Mendoza from Gardena, California to help plant a church in Masatepe, Nicaragua. Pastor Rolando is originally from Nicaragua and has been friends with Pastor Dave Ambrose from BridgeWay for nearly 10 years, so when Pastor Rolando asked BridgeWay to help get a chruch started in Nicaragua, we were excited to help in any way possible.
BridgeWay has taken short-term mission teams down to Nicaragua each year for the past 5 years. We have helped build and re-build broken down homes, we have purchased many needed supplies for the ministry of the church and have been actively engaged in reaching out to the literally hundreds of kids who live in the neighborhood near the church. Each year, dozens of people from BridgeWay raise their own support of $1000 or more to be able to travel to Masatepe and serve the people of Nicaragua with Christ's love.
If you would like to get involved with one of our short-term mission trips or contribute financially, please contact Pastor Dave Ambrose at Dave (at) bridgewaycc.com.
