Student Ministries

Girls in student ministries program at Bridgeway

Welcome to the world of Student Ministries!

Thanks for reading through this info and checking things out…

Student Ministry exists to create space for hearts to connect with God.  His desire for relationship with us is the basis of our hang outs, small groups, retreats and events.  So, we desire to engage YOUR student in Life-On-Life Relationships and Life-Changing Experiences with Jesus in the middle of it all... ultimately, we want to see you experience Life Change because of Jesus working inside of you!

We create “space” through:

  • Worship- art, music, video, writing, and prayer…
  • Teaching and groups that are honest, biblical, and safe for questioning…
  • And a ton of fun together… there’s a lot going on.

We’d love for you to give BWay Student Ministries a shot.  With over 5 High Schools and a TON of J-Hi and Middle Schools represented, chances are you will be able to make a connection pretty easily.  We have great leaders and would love to connect with you.  It’s very important to us that you feel welcomed, so give us a call or drop us an email and we’ll meet you at the door!

Through the year at each level (Grades 5.6, 7.8, 9-12), we have programmed:

  1. Retreat or Conference – this is God on a level specific for your age group.  We will go somewhere away from BWay and experience singing, dancing, teaching, skits, video and a ton more—plus have a blast traveling and going somewhere new together.
  2. Mission Trip – we know the value of serving others and working with new folks.  All three levels of students will have a chance to go on the mission field!  We will be in Hamilton and Marion Counties, off to Mexico, and we’re working on a trip to Nicaragua!
  3. Rite of Passage – this is a cool experience: we want to partner with parents and celebrate as students step toward adulthood.  Quick example: Last year our 7.8 grade girls went to Columbus and learned some serious photography skills… they looked at the world through a “New Lens” and took some awesome shots!
  4. Pre-Evangelistic Events – these are simply events that are a ton of fun—and perfect for you to show up at with people who are new to a youth group setting.  We will be using the YMCA in Fishers and encouraging you to bring your friends!!
