Making the decision to pull away for a day and spend some time with God is a very courageous thing to do! In a culture that values busy-ness and work, taking time to rest and reflect is extremely counter-cultural! But it’s one of the most important things you can do to keep your soul alive!

You were created by God with a soul that will live on for all eternity. The process of spiritual formation is the process of shaping, forming and molding your soul into what God wants it to be. For years, Christ’s followers have used different spiritual exercises to help them form and shape their souls. This retreat will give you an opportunity to experiment with several different spiritual exercises.

We’ll start out together in the Community Room downstairs with a few introductions and a short tour of the facilities for those who have never been to Fatima. Then we’ll give you some time to be alone with God and simply listen to what He may want to say to you. During lunch, we’ll spend some time processing the morning together and listening to one another. After lunch, you can spend some more time with God, get some personalized spiritual direction or take off if you need to get home. Our day formally ends after lunch, but we have the opportunity to use the spiritual exercises at Fatima throughout the afternoon.
