It's one thing to get up and preach about the Power of Christ, it's quite another thing to actually try and live it out on a dialy basis! It's only Monday and I've already had to use the Prayer Card I handed out at the end of the service yesterday three times! Apparently I need to continually remind myself that I can't do this thing we call "life" in my own power, I desperately need the Power of Jesus to get me through each moment of each day. How are you doing so far this week?

Thanks for the reminder...I need it as I try to love my 5 year old with a very strong will of her own. My strength will never overcome this; only His power has the ability to break through to her heart.

I'm stuggling this week. I've looked at the prayer card as well as Proverbs 3:5-6. Thank you, Dave, for being so honest. Somehow, knowing that someone such as yourself doesn't have it all figured out helps us to know that it's a constant battle and evolution. One doesn't wake up one day and have it all figured out, never to stray again. Sunday was EXACTLY what I needed to hear.
