About Josh Reynolds

staffjoshHi, I’m Josh and have been at BridgeWay since May 2008.  My hometown, Monroe City, IN, had 500 people where my dad was a pastor and school teacher. So, anytime I got in trouble at school or church, I was in trouble at home! Growing up in southern Indiana was great for my brother, sister and me, and easy for my parents. More than once they would kick us all outside to dig holes, build forts, and ride bikes in the cow pastures.

With that small town background, I knew I wanted to see new places. So I attended Purdue University, lived in Australia, and taught school in Houston, TX. I love to travel lightly and find hidden treasures. Whether camping in Baja, Mexico, hiking to a snow patch in the Colorado Rockies, or jumping in a Nicaraguan taxi—these experiences shaped my life.

My call to be a youth pastor was cemented after teaching, working as a camp counselor, and traveling. Through those different avenues, I loved discovering the hearts of kids are so close to God’s. And that excitement is still growing!

Even with all those cool experiences, my girls are the best thing to come home to. Laura and I were married on August 8th, 2004, and our daughters Anson and Quinn are learning all their mother’s bad habits.

BridgeWay is a great fit for our family and the ministry that we are trying to live.
